Arushi Bhatia, from Apex is an excellent community member who strives to be a leader by volunteering herself locally and globally. She is a part of National Achiever society, Spanish honor society, National honor society and is a junior marshall at Apex high school. Arushi is active in organizations designed to give back to the community. She co-founded a charity called Project Diya to raise money for underprivileged children in India. She is also a member of Aim For Seva, which raises money to build free student homes, or chatralyas, in India. A fluent spanish speaker, she also has passion for math, science and programming and is currently an intern at SAS institute where she is learning to program.
