My name is Amith Jagannath and I am a senior at Voyager Academy High School in Durham, North Carolina. I have always been a straight A student, therefore, organization, time-management and flexibility are just a few of my core values. In my junior and senior years of high school, I plan to obtain my Associate’s degree by taking courses at Durham Tech Community College. I also attend the North Carolina School of Science and Math through the online program. In my free time, I play sports like cricket and tennis, love to volunteer with non-profits like HumSub, Pratham, and the Student Action Board, and play an instrument called the Mridangam, a south Indian two-sided drum. I have completed a formal graduation in Mridangam and plan on continuing as long as possible.
