Shriya Komaragiri is a senior at Enloe High School. She is associated with organizations such as AMWHO (American Mock World Health Organization), MBSA (Medical Bioscience Academy), NSHSS (National Society of High School Scholars), Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Leadership Initiatives, HOSA, DECA, Key Club, TYE (Tie Carolinas Young Entrepreneurs), USTA (United States Tennis Association) etc. As a particpant in the Leadership Initiatives Advanced Medical and Public Health Summit at Georgetown University, Shriya diagnosed a patient in Nigeria through Oculus Rift technology. She attended the AMWHO UNC Chapel Hill regional conference and the international conference at Emory University and received Best Position Paper Award, representing the country of Sudan. Shriya is also a recipient of the Presidential Volunteer Service Award in 2018. As a trained musician (Royal Conservatory Music – Level 9 and Carnatic) Shriya has performed at various events and concerts, including the opportunity to perform a Solo Concert in the “Music in the Park” Concert Series, sponsored by the Town of Morrisville. Shriya is also a ranked USTA Tennis player (top 50 in NC in the Girls 18’s age group) and received the Enloe High School Tennis Team’s MVP Award this past year.
