    Welcome to Drishti- A window to the World, our theme for Cary Diwali 2018! As in previous years, Hum Sub brings you a day-long event of music, dance, shopping, and food to celebrate the much-loved Indian festival of lights, Diwali. This free event comes to town on October 13 at the KokaBooth Amphitheater in downtown Cary.

    Let more than 1,000 performers of ages ranging from 7-18 delight you with their presentations of classical, fusion, and Bollywood-style dances, choreographed by not just eminent dance teachers of the Triangle but also enthusiastic teenagers. The six-hour long day programming will also include vocalists and instrumentalists.

    Learn more about Indian culture at a carefully curated exhibition where, this year, we will present  Indian classical music. We will showcase popular as well as not-so-often seen musical instruments and give viewers an insight into India’s  This will be complemented by a talk on the healing effects of sound,  from a yoga perspective.

    We will recognize our incredibly talented youth once again at Cary Diwali 2018! Our Youth Achievement Award is up for grabs. Track our website https://humsub.org for application deadlines.

    Shop away at the Cary Diwali bazaar where you will find the best in ethnic clothing, personal and home accessories, and exotic handicrafts. Dig into all your favorite Indian foods as we bring to you some of the best restuarants of the Triangle to Cary Diwali!

    Don’t forget to stay till our spectacular evening performance headlined by National Award winner singer Sadhna Sargam and Runner up of inaugural Indian Idol contest Amit Sana, capped off by a dazzling fireworks display.
